Deck, Fencing & Patio Building Across Bay, Walton, Okaloosa & Gulf County, FL

Home Remodel Co's deck, fencing, and patio building work covers four Florida Panhandle counties: Bay County (Panama City, Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Callaway, Southport, Pretty Bayou, Upper Grand Lagoon), Walton County (Freeport and the 30A corridor — Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton Beach, WaterColor, Inlet Beach, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seacrest Beach), Okaloosa County (Niceville and Destin), and Gulf County (Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach). Every one of those areas is covered by the same in-house crew and the same free-estimate process.

Every deck, fencing, or patio project starts the same way, wherever you're located: an in-person visit to see the space, take real measurements, and talk through the scope. From there we put together a written scope and timeline before any work starts, order materials, and keep one in-house crew on the job from start to finish — no rotating subcontractors, and no surprise change orders once work begins.

Permitting works the same way everywhere we serve: incorporated cities like Panama City, Destin, and Freeport handle permits through their own building department, while unincorporated communities like Southport, Santa Rosa Beach, and Grayton Beach permit through their county's building division instead. Decks and many fences need a permit almost everywhere we work, and a few 30A communities — Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and WaterColor among them — add an HOA or architectural review step on top of it. We sort out what applies and handle the paperwork. We also handle Pressure Washing, Additions & Gut Jobs and Demolition Services.

Three Services, One Crew

Decks, Fencing & Patios

Deck Builder covers all three — here's what each one actually involves.

Decks

Elevated outdoor living space in pressure-treated wood or composite decking — built to connect your indoor living space to the backyard, pool, or waterfront. Most decks need a permit, which we pull and manage for you.

Fencing

Privacy, property-line, and pool-safety fencing in wood, vinyl, or aluminum. Florida's pool safety laws generally require a code-compliant barrier around an in-ground pool — we build fencing to meet that requirement, and many fence projects also need a local permit.

Patios

Paver and concrete patios for outdoor living, fire pits, and pergola footings. Drainage and grading matter more in Florida's sandy soil and heavy summer rain than in most parts of the country, so we grade every patio to move water away from the house.

FAQs

Decks, Fencing & Patios Questions

What areas do you serve for deck, fencing, and patio building?

We serve Bay County, Walton County, Okaloosa County, and Gulf County, Florida — from Panama City and Panama City Beach to the 30A communities and down to Port St. Joe. See the full list of service areas below.

Do you handle the permit for my deck, fencing, or patio project?

Most decks and many fences need a permit in your area, handled through the right city or county building department — paver patios sometimes do too, depending on size and drainage. We check the specifics for your project and pull whatever's required.

Do you work on short-term rental and investment properties?

Regularly — a lot of our deck, fencing, and patio building work is for vacation rentals and investment properties along the coast, often in partnership with Venture South Real Estate for owners who are buying and renovating in the same move.

How do I get a deck, fencing, or patio project estimate?

Call (850) 818-2973 or fill out the form on this page — we'll follow up to schedule a free, in-person estimate, often the same day for Bay County.
